C&D mix

C&D from ephemera on 8tracks.

Here is it the continuation of my alphabet mixes, this one like the others only has songs from albums that begin with the letters C&D. I decided to combine letters and that way be able to make longer mixes and not have to be restricted or forced to pick ten songs from each letter. Includes Owl Breathe Owl, Devendra Banhart, and Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young. I love this picture which has nothing to do with the mix but is a real life C&D.

What do you think of the mix? This year I really want to make an effort to listen to new music because I hardly listened to anything new last year, so I am open to any recommendations!

B Mix

'B' mix from ephemera on 8tracks.

This mix includes Beach House, Belle & Sebastian, & Blind Faith. And as in the last mix only albums that begin with the letter B. Enjoy! I hope to have the C mix in the next few days before Friday.

A (music collection) + A mix

I've been having this feeling for a while now that I used to listen to music a lot more then I have been. It makes me sad to realize that but my life has changed, I no longer ride the bus for hours with my headphones on.

I thought about it and realized that I have to make time for music and maybe also clean up my collection of music. Since I have gotten my new laptop my music collection has some BIG gaping wholes in it. I have tons of music I've never listened to because I thought I might like it or read about somewhere. I decided to torture myself(!) and listen to everything in my iTunes by alphabetical order (by Albums), I finally finished the A,B, & C. So I planning on making a playlist for every letter maybe depends on how many albums I have and so on, my collection is still a work in progress will always be.

'A' mix from ephemera on 8tracks.

This playlist features 10 songs from 10 albums that start with the letter 'A' that I really really like. This is my first time using 8tracks so I hope it works out okay and my first time trying to make a mix in years. The mix includes Wolf Parades, Buffalo Springfield, and Avi Buffalo.

Sparklehorse feat. PJ Harvey / Piano Fire

The only song I can ever recall playing on repeat, over and over.

Neil Young / Old Man

One day late. But theres so much more.

grandaddy - elevate myself

This song takes me back, I feel young and silly. I like to think I have no regrets but this songs reminds me of some. I can only change my tomorrow! Its funny because I don't listen to anything like this anymore but this will always be a favorite.

wolf parade - i'll believe in anything

One of my all-time favorites! To me this part of this blog is about finally coming around and doing all that I've been meaning to do. One of thing things I've wanted to do is to make a list of my fifty favorite songs. This is one of those songs that means something to me, a favorite for many years.
